  1. Hi, I'm creating a basic banner in Adobe Animate and need to reveal some text using a moving clipping mask. I've tried creating a traditional clipping mask using animate and then animating the mask using TweenMax, but this doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions? Many thanks Tony
  2. Hi Friends, I'm hoping someone can help me to understand the behaviour I'm experiencing when trying to use svg masks dynamically. The codepen technically works as intended however the only way I can seem to get them to work is using the .fromTo() function and I imagine the .to() and .from() although I haven't tried them specifically. I am however wondering if I can preposition the svg out of it's mask with the mask property remaining intact and the mask remaining in place by using perhaps the .set() function although I can't seem to get that to work. Also using translate transforms doesn't seem to work. Any guidance is much appreciated, Adam
  3. Hi All, I am trying to animate a mask in a Flash HTML5 Canvas document using TweenLite. I am trying to animate a symbol that is in a mask layer. But when I try I get a JavaScript console error: TweenLite.min.js:12 Uncaught Cannot tween a null target. My other objects animate fine. I believe I have all the proper .js files loaded in the HTML (easelJS, tweenJS, movieclip, preloadJS) and the Tweenlite files (CSSPlugin, EasePack, Tweenlite). Here is the code I used that throws the error. TweenLite.to(this.leftYellowStripeMask, .5, {y:-9, ease:Quad.easeOut, delay:.3}); I'm guessing masks are not supported this way? Thanks,
  4. Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to animate the webkit-mask-position property using the CSS plugin. And if so how would I reference it? Would it be maskPositionX or something? Thanks! REF:https://css-tricks.com/webkit-image-wipes/
  5. Hello, I've been working with the Javascript version of GreenSock v 12, EaselJs, and the Canvas element. I know that the Actionscript version of Greensock has a CircluarPath2D or something something like that, but I've searched Google and the Greensock forums and cannot find a way of actual animate the drawing of a shape like in Flash. I've seen tons of examples on "Transforming" shapes, and the drawing of shapes and then put them on the screen, but not any actual on-screen animated drawing of a shape/bezier. I also, looked into svg, but did not see an option there. Is it possible to do this without using masks? If so, please provide a very simple example or send me a link to how to do this Thanks for viewing, any help will be greatly appreciated.
