  1. I just tried to create a box and animated it after. I'm following this tutorial: https://gsap.com/docs/v3/GSAP/ My background successfully changed so I think my GSAP has already been imported correctly. But my box doesn't show up. I'm new to Javascript. Any help will be appreciated.
  2. Hello! I am quite new to GSAP and I am trying to make a slider using Draggable. I am trying to display a caption when an item is above the arrow (the '\/'). I got working for the right side. However, I can't get the draggable to be able to drag all the way to the left without messing up getting the 'content-box' index in the OnDragEnd function. Please, let me know how to solve this. Thanks in advance
  3. Hello! I am very thankful for Greensock forum to be so helpful for me before with my website. I've got +1 little moment of getting stuck in there without knowing what to do. I need to make on scroll text animation as on this reference website - https://www.joinsparq.com/ (as in "Say goodbye to labor fees" and other titles like this). I am using SplitText and trying to get the same effect, but I cannot achieve the same look of text getting from like... behind & bottom of the row and moving to the front & top? I am attaching a codepen of my current progress and that's how it looks when implemented on website (not quite it, right? ) - https://saltbox-new.webflow.io/workspaces I think the reference website itself might be using GSAP as well, but I don't seem to find it in their code, so will be glad to get any help or hint. Thanks in advance! P.S. An off question - is it possible to upload SplitText/SmoothScroll as CDN links? I am using sitebuilder, so cannot store files externally myself or upload them to the builder as well as pasting it as external code due to a limit of symbols.
  4. I put the following CDN code in my HTML file and then executed TimelineLite function in javascript. <html> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/2.1.2/TweenLite.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/2.1.2/TimelineMax.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/2.1.2/easing/EasePack.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/2.1.2/plugins/CSSPlugin.min.js"></script> <My javascript code> start = ()=> { let loader = document.getElementById('loading'), loadContents = document.getElementsByClassName('loading_content'), tlLoader = new TimelineMax(); // Loader Timeline tlLoader .staggerFromTo(loadContents, 0.3, {y:0, autoAlpha: 0}, {y:20, autoAlpha: 1, ease:Back.easeInOut}, 0.05 ) .fromTo(loader,0.3, {autoAlpha: 1, scale: 1.3}, {autoAlpha: 0, scale: 1, ease:Power0.easeNone}, 0.9 ); } start(); Then... the following error appeared in Console. Why is this happening? I guess I add the CDN code incorrectly, so I change to another CDN <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/2.1.2/TweenMax.min.js"></script> and tried to use changed TimelineMax to TimelineLite in my javascript code. but this problem is still happening now. plz.. help me
  5. Seems like 3.4.0 is not accessible from the cloud fare CDN https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/3.4.0/gsap.min.js https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/3.3.4/gsap.min.js works fine
  6. I just wanted to give everyone some advance notice that the browser makers are doing away with the notion of a shared browser cache over the next year or so. In practical terms, this means that we can no longer rely on browsers to have GSAP cached even though it's hosted on a CDN. This is a major departure from the past, and unfortunately might come as a bit of a downer if you're trying to minimise your JS payload footprint. https://www.jefftk.com/p/shared-cache-is-going-away
  7. Check out the GSAP Overview on the docs homepage. It makes it super easy to see which tools are hosted on the CDN and copy the URLs to your clipboard. You can also get a full list at CDNJS.com.
  8. Putting them on a CDN would remove one of the primary reasons for joining Club GreenSock, the very thing that enables ongoing support and development. Not a very good business move.
  9. Hi guys, new to Greensock so trying to learn as quickly as possible I cannot find anywhere how to load the Draw SVG plugin via a CDN (as it looks like it is not part of the 'tweenmax.js' file which IS shown how to load via CDN in the docs. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance, Keith
  10. Hello Fellow Greensockers, Here is a question for you How come that, when trying to create an instance of TimelineLite after that the javascript onload event fired, the following import gives me this error in Chrome:Uncaught ReferenceError: TimelineLite is not defined(…) <script type="text/javascript" src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/cssplugin_1.19.0_cfbff7d208ccfdbe176b9855af1eb1fa_min.js"> </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/tweenlite_1.19.0_422f021fad4c20f20cf3640a06ac39e9_min.js"></script> Whereas this import does not <script type="text/javascript" src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/cssplugin_1.19.0_cfbff7d208ccfdbe176b9855af1eb1fa_min.js"> </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/tweenmax_1.19.0_643d6911392a3398cb1607993edabfa7_min.js"></script> Did my brain just die overnight ? Sorry, it is such a silly question. But as I recall I just need to import TweenLite to instantiate TimelineLite Thanks in advance, "S"
  11. Hello, the below works, loading TweenMax from CDN <script src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/tweenmax_1.19.0_643d6911392a3398cb1607993edabfa7_min.js"></script><script src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/cssplugin_1.18.5_6bbddbd910e8bfac4e19220fe52e1af6_min.js"></script> function initAnim() { var TL = new TimelineLite(); TL.from("#banner", 1.2, { autoAlpha: 0 }); TL.to("#car", 2, { x: 200, y: 200 }) } But the following does not work, it tells me that TimelineLite is not defined, loading TweenLite from CDN <script src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/tweenlite_1.19.0_422f021fad4c20f20cf3640a06ac39e9_min.js"></script> <script src="https://s0.2mdn.net/ads/studio/cached_libs/cssplugin_1.18.5_6bbddbd910e8bfac4e19220fe52e1af6_min.js"></script> function initAnim() { var TL = new TimelineLite(); TL.from("#banner", 1.2, { autoAlpha: 0 }); TL.to("#car", 2, { x: 200, y: 200 }) } I am perplexed. I am sure this worked before. Since I am only creating an instance of TimelineLite, i should not need to load TweenMax. Hmm. What on earth. Thankful for insights, ".S"
  12. Hey guys, Does anyone know if Amazon allows a CDN link to GSAP for banners that go on their website or does it have to be included within the banner?
  13. Hello! I am going to make some GSAP banner ads for the Google Network Display Ads. Google requires a .zip file of all HTML, CSS, JS, and images - my question is: this looks and smells like a good match for GSAP!!! so should I 1. Include all the folders full of jQuery and TimeLineMax, etc.... 2. Include just HTML with an embedded style sheet and then absolute link to the CDN? Any best practices for sending GSAP banner ads to the Google Network will be helpful and welcome.
  14. I know there is a DoubleClick CDN topic but because Google has too many little rules for their different ad platforms, I thought I would make this topic especifically for their Rich Media account as the other CDN topic seem to focus more on their Campaign Manager details. So, carl help us here, please: Like you said, I am getting in touch to let you know DCRM has rejected one of our ads because we linked to GSAP via the CDN you guys provide. For now, the client is getting very twitchy so I am going to drop the library in and reference it locally but if you have a contact at Google and would like to poke them with that, it would be great. And, if they have finally sorted out their own CDN for GASP, could you let me know? Attaching a pic of the rejection report in case it helps you. I had to redact some bits due to client confidentiality.
  15. Hi, i am doing tons of online advertising banner stuff. Sometimes I have to use local JS GSAP libraries, but often i can use the CDN path to Tweenlite etc. to save file size when delivering to the advertiser. There are two methods - to link to the latest GSAP eg <script src="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/latest/plugins/CSSPlugin.min.js"></script> <script src="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/latest/easing/EasePack.min.js"></script> <script src="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/latest/TweenLite.min.js"></script> <script src="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/latest/TimelineLite.min.js"></script> or link to the version # of GSAP when coding the banner <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.18.0/TweenLite.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.18.0/TimelineLite.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.18.0/easing/EasePack.min.js"></script> <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.18.0/plugins/CSSPlugin.min.js"></script> What is more save to ensure the banners will work, when they show up later "live" at the browsers. Today i had some trouble when using the CDN Links with version # and got a error in Google Chrome's Browser ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR where the JS scripts did not load at all - so did not the banners! This should never happen when the work is "live"...
  16. Hi, I just finished reading your "Solutions for Banner Ads in a post-Flash world" article and in it you state that Doubleclick hosts GSAP on a CDN. Where could i find the SRC for that? I have the Cloudflare SRC, is it the same, or a different one? Thanks to anyone that can answer!
  17. Hi, I'm just wondering is there a limit to using the JS import in a campaign I am running soon? Potentially the campaign could get millions of hits, and using and js import via CDN could be a heavy hit on the servers? Can someone advise me please? Thanks
