Basic canvas example

Hi,

 

I understand how to do an animation within the DOM but I would like to see a basic example of animation within html5 canvas. Can anyone send me a basic example? Even if it's just to see a black box going from left to right.

I have set up an example some time ago. This might help you get an idea.

However I am using KineticJS for all my canvas manipulations, I find that it has all the missing parts of canvas.
