chardin
Hello! I am needing to create multiple instances of vertically scrolling content in a horizontal scrolling section. As you will see, I have an unordered list that needs to scroll vertically to see all of the content. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! GreenSock
Honestly, @chardin, that seems like it could be a pretty terrible UX problem. What happens when one of the vertically "scrolling" sections is part-way on screen? When the user drags their finger vertically on it (where there's clearly more content in that direction), it would actually keep scrolling horizontally? And then at some point when it's exactly fully taking up the viewport, THEN (and only then) it scrolls vertically the way the user expects? This is probably doable with enough elbow grease, but it's way beyond the scope of free help we can provide in these forums. You'd have to create a whole timeline with all the pieces moving in the appropriate directions, but compensate horizontally (fake pin) for the vertical sections, shoving everything after it horizontally in the same proportion/rate to keep it all locked in place visually. We do offer paid consulting services if you need more assistance (contact us). Or if anyone else wants to jump in and help here with the custom logic consulting, they're certainly welcome to do so. I just wanted to be clear that we don't have the resources to provide this kind of custom logic consulting for free (see the forum guidelines). Good luck! 👍
