edohak
Please answer the question. I want the animation to not move up to down. How can I change this way to change the way scroll is triggered not from bottom to top but from top to bottom. gsap.timeline({ scrollTrigger: { trigger: ".shoe", start: 0.5, end: 5, scrub: false, pin: false, } }) .from(".midsole", { y: innerHeight * 0.5 }) .from(".outsole", { y: innerHeight * 0.5 });
GSAP Helper
start: 'top top', end: 'bottom bottom' Not sure it that'll do it or not, as it's really hard to determine what you are trying to do without a minimal demo: It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or CodeSandbox that demonstrates the issue? Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer. Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo: See the Pen aYYOdN by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen If you're using something like React/Next/Vue/Nuxt or some other framework, you may find StackBlitz easier to use. We have a series of collections with different templates for you to get started on these different frameworks: React/Next/Vue/Nuxt. Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.
edohak
This is my code in CodePen, please check. I attach screenshot for visual presentation. When I scroll this 2 blue panels move down to up. (bottom to top), but I don't know how I can change animation way go to top to bottom (up to down). (Please open full version Codeopen link, not that embed, because visuals looks not correct) See the Pen qBMEgMz by edohak (@edohak) on CodePen
Solution Rodrigo Posted February 16, 2023 Solution Share Posted February 16, 2023 Hi @edohak and welcome to the GreenSock forums! I think you're looking for ScrollTrigger's toggleActions: toggleActions String - Determines how the linked animation is controlled at the 4 distinct toggle places - onEnter, onLeave, onEnterBack, and onLeaveBack, in that order. The default is play none none none. So toggleActions: "play pause resume reset" will play the animation when entering, pause it when leaving, resume it when entering again backwards, and reset (rewind back to the beginning) when scrolling all the way back past the beginning. You can use any of the following keywords for each action: "play", "pause", "resume", "reset", "restart", "complete", "reverse", and "none". Here is a fork of your example: See the Pen MWqwWpL by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen Here is the debug link (no iframes): https://cdpn.io/pen/debug/MWqwWpL Hopefully this helps. Happy Tweening!

Cassie
Like this? You can change the values to anything you like, I added a vh option and a px option so you can see. See the Pen MWqwWpL?editors=0010 by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen Hope it helps! 1
