Lottie scroll based animation only in the middle of the animation

Hi,
I don't know if its possible, but I need to control the Lottie animation in the middle frames of the animation.
So I need to divide it into three parts:
1. The first part plays itself until chosen frame and stops.
2. Second part is controlled by the scroll, and when the animation gets to another chosen frame it stops.

3. Last part also like the first part plays itself to the end.
4. Reset the scrollTrigger and the animation, when the user scrolls back and starts to scroll to bottom again

Thank you all for the amazing job you did here

It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or CodeSandbox that demonstrates the issue?

Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer.

Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo

If you're using something like React/Next/Vue/Nuxt or some other framework, you may find StackBlitz easier to use. We have a series of collections with different templates for you to get started on these different frameworks: React/Next/Vue/Nuxt.

Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.

Yep, you should be able to create 3 individual tweens that each handle a frame range. But be careful about logic issues in the way you're setting things up - think about if someone scrolls quickly. If the first part doesn't scrub (just plays "normally"), what would you expect to happen if the user scrolls from the top of the page to the middle of the 2nd (scrubbed) tween? There wouldn't be enough time for the first animation to even get to the frame where the 2nd tween begins, so you'd see a jump. It sounds like a rather convoluted and potentially jumpy experience due to the logic.

If you still need help, I'd suggest that you give it a shot and then post back here with a minimal demo that clearly shows the issue and we'd be happy to answer any GSAP-specific questions.
