This might be a  silly question, but If I  post my project to github and want to work on it on another computer,  Would the NPM install include the additional plugins I got from purchasing shockinglyGreen, or  would I need to commit the node modules to github?

Not a silly question at all.

You're correct - since we can't post the members-only bonus plugins to NPM (otherwise that'd make them free for everyone...easy to steal), you'd just need to add them to your project code somewhere. If you're putting them on github, please just make sure your repo is private. :)
