Loading image as byteArray?

Hi, I'd like to download an image from a URL but I do not need to display it but just save it locally as a byteArray, so I don't need a loader or visual element to be created. Is there any way to download the image as data that gives me a byteArray without creating extra stuff?

Sorry, LoaderMax doesn't offer that kind of functionality.
