Thanks Carl, and apologies for the delayed repsonse - out on business. In the meantime, I've decided to dive in and just take a stab at it, and it's turned out to be incredibly intuitive, with just the right level of API control.
I'm trying to find the best way to handle high-level sequences like "scenes" that consist of of many simple animations - and which are also peppered with a few interactions (mainly click/taps) via events. It's nice to know that the animations are rock solid, and that whatever my scene-based MVC best practice evolves into, it has a rocking animation engine that just does what it's told. Even on IE.
If you know of any scene-based demos that I could look at, please do forward on.
