iTech
Is there any way to rotate a "needle" (like a speedometer needle) from 180 to -180? Everything I've been doing seems be broken. It also tends to rotate from the center of the MC as opposed to the bottom.
GreenSock
Absolutely that's possible. Did you build your needle so that the registration point is at its bottom (where you want the pivot point)? Please post a very simple FLA that clearly demonstrates the problem so that we can publish on our end and see what's happening. (don't forget to zip the file first). Carl
I made a basic file for you with a needle with the registration point in the proper place. Since the needle (the way I created it) is naturally pointing to the left, you just have to rotate it 180 like so: TweenLite.to(needle, 4, {rotation:180}); If you need it to work differently just let us know. needle_CS5.fla.zip
iTech
It turns out that it was the registration point causing the issue. Thanks guys!
