Need help with with setting up continuous rotating ticker with drag

Hello,

I was able to create a continuous rotating ticker based on the forum answer here

I've also added a Draggable plugin to allow the user to drag the ticker and a feature where if a user hovers their cursor, the ticker would pause.

Draggable plugin mentioned above https://gsap.com/docs/v3/Plugins/Draggable/

My issue is that if the user drags to the end of the ticker, the ticker won't repeat since the translateX value is not updated / tracked during the drag process and the animation only repeats once the xPercent reaches 100.

I'm having issues with two ideas I have in mind.

1. What would be the best way to calculate the position of my ticker when its being dragged?
2. If a user scrolls all the way to right, they will end up at a blank and the ticker will continue to rotate on a blank screen and only repeat once it hits xPercentage of 100. I was wondering if there is a way to force repeat my .to animation while the user is dragging the ticker?

My plan is to have the ticker element to have two arrays and set the xPercent at -50. So it will look like the ticker is continuously rotating.  But if the user drags the ticker past the -50 xPercentage, is there a way to restart the animation?

Without a minimal demo, it's very difficult to troubleshoot; the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, a 3rd party script, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or Stackblitz that illustrates the issue?

Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best. See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependencies as possible. Start minimal and then incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer.

See the Pen aYYOdN by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen

that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo

Using a framework/library like React, Vue, Next, etc.?

CodePen isn't always ideal for these tools, so here are some Stackblitz starter templates that you can fork and import the gsap-trial NPM package for using any of the bonus plugins:

Please share the StackBlitz link directly to the file in question (where you've put the GSAP code) so we don't need to hunt through all the files.

Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.
