Stuck in Scroll Trigger animation to trigger sections on top of one another when the section end is reached

The effect I'm trying to create is to slide the next section on top of the current one when scrolling to the current section's end. It kind of works when the page is loaded but doesn't go in reverse and the transitions aren't exactly appealing.

I've tried using other threads to create the same effect like this one:

 

It further messes up my code. If anyone can help, I'd be extremely grateful.
