Tati Posted November 16, 2023 Share Posted November 16, 2023 Hi! I had already used ScrollSmother before, but I could solve this problem using Scrolltrigger.refresh(). This time it doesn't help to get rid of the content jump. What am I doing wrong? Since my recalculation is related to css, I tried to do a delayed refresh, but it didn’t help. Help me please ) function responsiveAcc(){ let acc = document.querySelectorAll(".faq__row"); acc.forEach(function (item, i, arr) { item.addEventListener("click", function() { arr.forEach(function(q) { if (q !== item) { toggleAcc(q, true); gsap.delayedCall(0.4, refresh); function refresh() { ScrollTrigger.refresh(); } } }); toggleAcc(item); gsap.delayedCall(0.4, refresh); function refresh() { ScrollTrigger.refresh(); } }); }); function toggleAcc(tab, closeOnly) { let answer = tab.lastElementChild; let header = tab.firstElementChild; if (answer.style.maxHeight && answer.style.maxHeight != "0px" || closeOnly){ answer.style.maxHeight = 0; tab.classList.remove('active'); header.classList.remove('active'); answer.classList.remove('active'); } else { answer.style.maxHeight = answer.scrollHeight + "px"; tab.classList.add('active'); header.classList.add('active'); answer.classList.add('active'); } } } bandicam-2023-11-16-10-56-03-547_EdkWIbnZ.mp4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Solution GSAP Helper Posted November 16, 2023 Solution Share Posted November 16, 2023 It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or Stackblitz that demonstrates the issue? Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best. See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer. Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo: See the Pen aYYOdN by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen Using a framework/library like React, Vue, Next, etc.? CodePen isn't always ideal for these tools, so here are some Stackblitz starter templates that you can fork and import the gsap-trial NPM package for using any of the bonus plugins: React (please read this article!) Next Svelte Sveltekit Vue Nuxt Please share the StackBlitz link directly to the file in question (where you've put the GSAP code) so we don't need to hunt through all the files. Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tati Posted November 17, 2023 Author Share Posted November 17, 2023 I can't reproduce the problem this way. Based on my code above, can you guess where such a jump could come from? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rodrigo Posted November 17, 2023 Share Posted November 17, 2023 Hi, Sorry but without a demo that clearly illustrates the issue, there is not much we can actually do. You can check these demos and see if they provide any help: See the Pen RwBqKvB by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen See the Pen dyjxwMr by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen Happy Tweening!
