Hi!
Whenever I refresh my webpage, therefore, the first time this fireball animation happens, it doesn't happen as expected. 1 time this animation is called -> wrong, 2+ time it's called -> works as expected

Im following a tutorial, however, I copied everything as the guy and mine didn't work. Although I'm using typescript and not javascript.

I posted my relevant code on codepen.

I can't upload a video so here's a link to a place where I could upload the video.

https://files.fm/u/u2syy2ufk (I hope it isn't against tos)

Thanks!!

Hm, your demo is missing a bunch of code/links and is throwing obvious errors.

It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo. If you'd like some help, please make sure you provide a minimal demo that very clearly shows the issue and we'd be glad to take a look. And please simplify it - your current demo has over 150 lines of JS alone. Do you really need that many to illustrate the problem? Isolating this is a super good troubleshooting habit to get into.

Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer.

Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo

If you're using something like React/Next/Vue/Nuxt or some other framework, you may find StackBlitz easier to use. We have a series of collections with different templates for you to get started on these different frameworks: React/Next/Vue/Nuxt.

Once we see a clean isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.
