The beauty of GSAP is that everything is possible, the only thing that is holding you back is your creativity. Where most tools you find only provide a way to do something specific, GSAP provides a whole toolbox with which you can build anything!

 

Keep in mind what you linked is probably build by a team of graphic designers and developers who have been honing their skills over years. I don't know what your skill level is, but with most everything you're learning, start simple and work your way up from there. Here are the getting started post for GSAP:

Personally I use codepen to try out new ideas, I usually then just keep forking my pen to try out different ideas, either because I think it could be better or my original idea was not working. Usually at version 10 I got something I'm happy with. Creating forks of your pen will allow you to fall back at earlier ideas if something new is not working.
