Hi, I will like to confirm how club GreenSock works...

Let's say I subscribe to ShockinglyGreen @ $149/year. If I use these plugins for let's say 3 different projects for 3 different clients. Does it mean that I will have to renew the subscription after a year for all the 3 projects or do I just need to renew my own subscription and the plugins still works for the projects?

Either way, what happens if I did not renew the subscription?
The plugins stop working in the projects I used them in without breaking the app or throwing an error or what?

I will like to get clarification on this before discussing it with my clients...

Great questions, @TaiwoJazz.

We don’t impose any limits on the number of sites/domains/products you can use the tools on while your membership is active. It’s unlimited in that regard.

Our entire licensing model is based on the honor system and a simple number-of-developers pricing structure.

If your membership expires, nothing will change on your client websites. We don’t inject “phone home” scripts to verify your license status. Functionality doesn’t suddenly stop upon expiration. Inspect the code for yourself if you’d like to verify (that’s why we provide the raw source code). We treat others the way we’d want to be treated.

Keep your membership active in order to maintain access to the latest updates and any new plugins/premium tools that we create as well as the private NPM repository. We’ll send you a reminder 7 days before expiration and hopefully you’ll be so thrilled with the technology and it’ll save your team so much money/time in development that you’ll be excited to renew. Our goal is to have happy customers around here. I really think you’re gonna love using the tools and the renewals will be a no-brainer. You can set up auto-renewals to save 10% on those renewals too.

The only case where you'd need to renew to keep a valid membership is if you're continuing to sell a product that uses GSAP to multiple people (this requires an active Business Green membership).

I think you’ll find that the membership pays for itself literally in one project when you consider all the time it’ll save, the added capabilities and performance you get...and of course that sense of having animation superpowers is priceless 🙂

Does that clear things up?
