Noaa203
Screen Recording 2022-10-23 at 15.43.49 2.mov Hi! I experience these glitches and jumpy behaviour each time the component is rendered plus for each animation even if I scroll slower. Do you have a solution for this issue ? Thanks! GSAP Helper
It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or CodeSandbox that demonstrates the issue? Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer. Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo: See the Pen aYYOdN by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen If you're using something like React/Next/Nuxt/Gatsby or some other framework, you may find CodeSandbox easier to use. Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.

Cassie
Hi there, just flagging that this demo isn't working. Once we see a working demo that shows the issue you're encountering we can jump in and help. Noaa203
Hi, Hope it works now. I have noticed that the glitch happens only on Safari when running on CodeSandbox. Thank you very much for the help! https://codesandbox.io/s/upbeat-saha-nrmm9j
Rodrigo
Hi, Sometimes this sandbox services have a few issues when showing the results, which is normally done with iframe elements. Is better sometimes to see an iframe-free version of it to get a picture closer to a rea-life scenario. In this case it would be this URL: https://nrmm9j.csb.app/ Unfortunately I don't have a Mac so I can't check this in Safari, but I can give you some advice: you are creating three different ScrollTrigger instances that have the same trigger and pinned element, so instead of doing that, just create a timeline and use the same ScrollTrigger configuration. This seems to work the same way your current code does and it easier to read and follow: gsap.timeline({ scrollTrigger: { trigger: about.current, pin: true, start: "top", end: "+=300%", scrub: true, markers: true, } }) .fromTo( weAre.current, { maskPosition: "-1200px 0px", opacity: 0 }, { maskPosition: "0px 0px", ease: "power1.ease", opacity: 1, }, "+=0.1") .to(text.current, { color: "white", opacity: 1, ease: "power1.ease", }, "+=0.1") .to(img.current, { ease: "power1", yPercent: -300, scale: 0.3, }, "+=0.1"); Hopefully a user with a Mac will see this and help us find the problem in Safari. Happy Tweening!
Cassie
Yeah, one timeline works perfectly in safari! It was likely just the multiple scrollTrigger declarations causing the glitch.
