Mental Republic
Hi All! I Wonder if there is a way to animate some text from letf to right when the user scrolls dows, and reverse it when the user scrolls up. Thanks
ZachSaucier
Hey ivanguinea. This is definitely possible! In fact, GreenSock is working specifically on a scroll plugin for cases like this. But until the scroll plugin is available, you can do this by tracking the scroll position and updating the progress of your animation. I talk more about how to do so in the tip "Use case: Animating based on the scroll position" of my article about animating efficiently but I highly recommend reading the whole thing

ZachSaucier
Edit the CodePen in the section that I mentioned to move the text instead of fading it in. That's it
