Current version has features for FP 10 (e.g. Vector) which causes Flash to barf.

Nope, there's only one plugin that uses Vector (EndVectorPlugin) and that's completely optional. You'd have to activate it manually to use it anyway, so it shouldn't cause any problems for FP9 folks. It just gives FP10 folks the ability to tween values in a Vector if they want to. The AS3 version of TweenLite and TweenMax are completely compatible with Flash Player 9 and do NOT require FP10.

actually to be precise it wasn't causing Flash to barf, but PowerFlasher was flagging it as a problem.
