Can the COM folder be installed in Flash?

Maybe a dumb question, but instead of having my /com/ folder in every project directory, is there a way to put it somewhere in the main Flash application folders so that Flash knows its there and can import from there? (in other words, kind of like how component extensions only have one place to "install" them to).

Sure, you can alter your preferences and set up a custom classpath on your hard drive wherever you want. It is certainly convenient, although there are two down sides:

1) If you send your source files to someone else, you must remember to send the GreenSock stuff too.

2) When TweenLite/Max has a major version update (like from v10 to v11), there are some things that may change in the API slightly, so if you replace your source files with the new version and then publish an older FLA that used v10, it could run into trouble. I work hard to maintain backwards compatibility and limit API changes, but as the platform evolves and improves, sometimes it is wise to make some changes.
