I am exploring the world of animations and would like to be able to build an animation as the one available on this NYT page. Is GSAP the right tool for this kind of animation or this is not really meant for data visualization use case.

ZachSaucier Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 Hey aloz and welcome. As mikel said, this sort of animation is very doable in GSAP. GSAP even has tools to move elements along paths very easily. For how to do this in GSAP 2, check out this post: In GSAP 3, which is to be released soon, movement along a path is even easier!
