I have been looking at videos for cc animate, but I am unsure if I need animate to accomplish this..

I have a hero image full screen and I am trying to have some text display. not so much animated but as follows

<div>

<span>1</span>

<span>2</span>

<span>3</span>

<span>4</span>

<span>5</span>

</div>

and it will just keep switching to the next text. it will only show one word at a time.

Hi Racke,

Welcome to the forums.

If you are using spans and divs chances are you will not want to use Animate CC.

Animate CC exports to HTML5 canvas which doesn't contain any divs or spans.

I would strongly recommend Mikel's advice above. Start small. Learn a bit of the GSAP API with just a few elements in CodePen.
