Controle animation with input value

i have seen this tutorial where the animation can be controled by the input value of a slider.

I have a variable definde in my code which has a value between 0 and 1. Is it possible to control the progress for the animation with the value from this variable?

That is possible, you would just pass that input value with JavaScript to GSAP.
