I don't know if this is possible but wouldn't it make more sense to create that folder just for the Custom Plugins and not for the whole Greensock Library? So you could do something like import { TweenMax } from 'gsap'; import CustomEase from 'mygsap/CustomEase'; Now the Core Library will be up to date because it is still managed by npm and the CustomPlugins need to updated by hand anyway. 1
