[Using TimelineLite/Max to play through an array]

okay i made a codepen, its very hacky because i just came up with it. I may be trying to use this for the wrong thing. Im trying to use the timeline to manage where i am in my array which is being displayed on the gauge

[Using TimelineLite/Max to play through an array]

I have an array of samples that i am displaying as a gauge, and i want the timeline to control where i am in the array. What is the best way to do this? Do i need to make each one of these samples a tween or can i leave it as a number? A nudge in the right direction would be extremely helpful... Thank you
