{width: XX, height: YY} growing to the left and up

Hi,

when I set tghe height and width to an object, it is growing to the right and down. How can I change it to grow to the left and up? I can't use ScaleY and ScaleX because it is a ScaleBitmap that should be changed in a 9slice way.

I assume by ScaleBitmap you are referring to this third-party custom class:http://www.bytearray.org/?p=118 ?

 

It appears that object has its own setSize(width, height) method which is responsible for re-drawing the bitmap from the top-left. Not so sure there is an easy way to get around that.

Yes, you're right. That is exactly the class I'm using. If there is an other opportunity how to resize a bitmap with 9slices please let me know.

How annoying that that ScaleBitmap let you change the scale with scaleX/scaleY. I found this which might offer a workaround for 9 grid scaling a Bitmap. I've not tested it but the idea seems valid.
