Hey guys,
I recently stumbled across https://anatoletouvron.fr/ 's portfolio. I really liked the page transition that was being used plus also realized he was making use of gsap for the same from a related article. This is the https://res.cloudinary.com/impower/video/upload/v1692899113/sample_yc3if0.mp4  transition video so as to specify which exact animation I'm talking about.  I am new to gsap and would really love it, if you guys can guide me on how to go about this.
Thank You

We love helping with GSAP-related questions, but unfortunately we just don't have the resources to provide free general consulting, logic troubleshooting, or "how do I recreate this cool effect I saw on another site?" tutorials. Of course anyone else is welcome to post an answer if they'd like - we just want to manage expectations.

If you're looking for ScrollTrigger effects, I'd recommend looking at the demos at https://greensock.com/st-demos and https://codepen.io/collection/DkvGzg and https://codepen.io/collection/AEbkkJ - you may be able to use one of those as a jumping-off point.

You are welcome to post in the "Jobs & Freelance" forum for paid consulting, or contact us directly.

Otherwise, if you've got a GSAP-specific question just post that here along with a minimal demo and we'd be happy to take a look.

What article is that ?

Similar has been inquired about previously on the GSAP forum. For instance this previous topic along with this one discussed a similar effect. The examples found in those threads should help you accomplish your goals, all the best with your project.

PS: MorphSVGPlugin for the win, worth every penny. 😉

Hi,

That implies using GLSL Shaders which is not the simplest thing to achieve and is quite beyond the help we can provide in these free forums.

If I had to start somewhere I google getting started with shaders and then watch some videos in this channel:

https://www.youtube.com/@akella_

He has used GSAP in some of his examples I believe.

Good luck with your project!

Happy Tweening!
