Please help,

I have been unable to find a solution for my site for a week now.

FullPage site, first screen 100vh. I want the timeline-hero to be played when scrolling down,

and after the end of the animation, there will already be a transition to the next section.

Everything works with my code,

but if you scroll with the mouse wheel, it scrolls down a lot,

but you need the block to stand still until the end of the timeline-hero.

Thank you.

var hero = gsap.timeline({paused: 1});
hero.to('.text-line-3', {
scale: 0,
rotation: -90,
ease:'none',
}, "<");
hero.to('.text-line-2', {
scale: 0,
rotation: 90,
ease:'none',
}, "<");
hero.to('.text-line-1', {
scale: 0,
rotation: -90,
ease:'none',
},"<");
hero.to(' .rocket', {
x: 0,
y: "-160%",
ease:'none',
}, "<");

var sections = document.querySelectorAll(".section");
var scrolling = {
enabled: true,
events: "scroll,wheel,touchmove,pointermove".split(","),
prevent: e => e.preventDefault(),
disable() {
if (scrolling.enabled) {
scrolling.enabled = false;
window.addEventListener("scroll", gsap.ticker.tick, {passive: true});
scrolling.events.forEach((e, i) => (i ? document : window).addEventListener(e, scrolling.prevent, {passive: false}));
}
},
enable() {
if (!scrolling.enabled) {
scrolling.enabled = true;
window.removeEventListener("scroll", gsap.ticker.tick);
scrolling.events.forEach((e, i) => (i ? document : window).removeEventListener(e, scrolling.prevent));
}
}
};

function goToSection(section, i) {
if (scrolling.enabled) { // skip if a scroll tween is in progress
scrolling.disable();
if(i == 1){
hero.play();
hero.eventCallback("onComplete", function() {
gsap.to(window, {
scrollTo: {y: section, autoKill: true},
onComplete: scrolling.enable,
duration: 2
});
});
}else{
gsap.to(window, {
scrollTo: {y: section, autoKill: false},
onComplete: scrolling.enable,
duration: 1
});
}
}
};
function backToSection(section, i) {
if (scrolling.enabled) { // skip if a scroll tween is in progress
scrolling.disable();
if(i == 0){
gsap.to(window, {
scrollTo: {y: section, autoKill: false},
onComplete: scrolling.enable,
duration: 1
});
hero.reverse();
}else{
gsap.to(window, {
scrollTo: {y: section, autoKill: false},
onComplete: scrolling.enable,
duration: 1
});
}
}
};
sections.forEach((section, i) => {
ScrollTrigger.create({
trigger: section,
start: "top bottom-=1",
end: "bottom top+=1",
onEnter: () => goToSection(section, i),
onEnterBack: () => backToSection(section, i)
});
});

It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or CodeSandbox that demonstrates the issue?

Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer.

Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo

See the Pen aYYOdN by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen

If you're using something like React/Next/Vue/Nuxt or some other framework, you may find StackBlitz easier to use. We have a series of collections with different templates for you to get started on these different frameworks: React/Next/Vue/Nuxt.

Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.
