Is it possible to have the effect of moving up and down simultaneously while moving along the path?

I want the object to follow a path, repeatedly moving up and down.

However, if you additionally apply up and down repetition after applying the motionpath, it does not move along the correct path.

I've looked through the documentation and searched, but I can't figure it out.

If anyone knows how, please help.

Hello @jinnyum - welcome to the forum.

 

Maybe you could wrap the .astronaut group in another group and apply the y-transforms to that wrapping group instead of the .astronaut group itself.

 

Something like this maybe?
