New version of this animation

I was looking into a way to "rotate texts" using splitText, and found this pen. However this uses an old version of gsap. Where can I find a new version of this or how can I update this code to the v3?

So porting this to V3 syntax shouldn't be too complicated (actually it wasn't too complicated to update the code ).

I've tried to update the code, but I think I was missing something, maybe was the calling for ScrollTrigger, but I'm not sure!
