How to use position fixed with ScrollSmoother

I started using the plugin ScrollSmoother, and I have a question. Can I fix an element without taking it outside "smooth-content" and "smooth-wrapper"?

Maybe I'm wrong, but try this out and tell me if this is what you are looking for.

ScrollTrigger.create({
  trigger: ".position-fixed",
  start: "top top",
  end: "+=500 top",
  pin: true,
  markers: true
});

 

In addition, I would recommend you explore the demos to see how they do it there. That's always a good starting point along with the documentation.
