Horizontal sections with locomotive scroll

Hi, so I've been trying to work on this all day to no avail. 

So what i'd like to do is simplify this codepen. It's exactly what I need but the reversed scroll overcomplicates it for me.

I tried to remove it, and it broke.

Getting rid of the parts that make it workable in both directions here, actually doesn't make it much less complicated, but here you go.

 

I hope I understood correctly what it is you were trying to do.

I did notice some weird visual disappearing (and very late re-appearing) of DOM elements when scrolling down and back up again lately with locomotive-scroll demos. I'm not sure why exactly that happens, but I think it is related to locomotive-scroll (because I never noticed in demos without it), so I wouldn't really be able to help solve that, if you're going to run into it.
