Scroll Vertically and Horizontally

Hey there,

 

I'm trying to use GSAP to implement something like https://alvarotrigo.com/fullPage/extensions/scroll-horizontally.html
Basically, i'm trying to create a vertical page that snaps between sections, and some of the sections must have nested horizontal sections.

 

I've been trying to adapt code from this demo, but I'm a begginer in GSAP and I'm struggling. Can anyone help?

Hey pedrogsmoreira and welcome to the GreenSock forums. 

 

To use the technique from the CodePen that you linked you'll need to create a timeline that does the sections animations as you want it to be. So have it move horizontally then vertically etc as you need to. Then you'll need to set up custom snap positions based on the viewport sizing and number of slides per section. It's not the most straightforward of tasks. 

 

If you want to just create a slide deck, slides.com is great and supports multi-direction navigation similar to the extension that you linked.
