Get to initial view on mouse click function

Hello everyone!

 

I just started to use GSAP and also learning Javascript. I made this basic animation based on some of the YouTube tutorials and adjusted it a bit.

 

The problem I am trying to solve and currently with no luck, is that I want to make the left-arrow icon to work and go back to the initial view - to the start.

I found out that when I place the left-arrow icon code in HTML to some other place outside the "content" div, then the goBack() function works, but it does not go to the initial view.

 

Any suggestions what could cause the problems would be much appreciated!

Welcome to the GreenSock Forum.

 

If you start with a very simple layout and code it could be much easier.

Here's an example: play a timeline and reverse it with 2 different buttons:
