Hey guys,

I'm new to GSAP and svg animations in general. My team and I are working on a rather intensive design project and are doing research on various solutions.

The project: breaking down how an electric motor (specifically the Tesla's Model S motor) works.

We found this example -- https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6c/Trajans-Column-lower-animated.svg -- and we really would like to do something similar to this but with the electric motor.

Here's what what the motor like: http://insideevs.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Screen-Shot-2014-03-09-at-1.58.38-PM.png

Would it be possible to create this using GSAP? If not, is there an alternative piece of software that you recommend?

Lastly, where would you recommend finding freelancers that might have the skills required to work on this project.

Thanks!

If it's to retain a fixed isometric view, I see no reason why this couldn't be pulled off quite simply. The bulk of the work would be in the vector assets.

As for finding freelance/contract help, I would say this forum is a great place to start :) I'd be interested in learning more about the project if you want to contact me.
