  1. ..I would expect it would return the new value and not the pretween value. Please reffer to the codepen example. I am either missing something vey simple or very complex and surely nothing in beTween. Thanks lads
  2. Hi ! Hope you are fine guys, I have a problem with a timeline execution. Here is my code : this is in a click function : tl = new TimelineMax(); tl.to(".office-map", 2, {marginRight: '1800px'}, "s"); tl.to("#office-contact", 2, {left: '800px', onComplete: afterAnimation, onCompleteParams: [toSelect, currentSelected]}, "s"); tl.to(".office-map", 2, {marginRight: 0}, 'b'); tl.to("#office-contact", 2, {left: 0}, 'b'); And here the called function (afterAnimation) : function afterAnimation(toSelect, currentSelected) { currentSelected.removeClass('active'); currentSelected.hide(); toSelect.addClass('active'); toSelect.show(); } the first 2 lines of tl are made to move the objects of their position to the outside of the screen. After the function trigged, I have two other tl line in order to have them back. .office-map do properly the action (restoring margin in 2 seconds as asked) but #office-contact is coming back like a big block in 0.2s. We don't have a single transition. When I right click "inspect element" I can see the modification on the moving left element, but not on the right one... Do you have a clue about the problem ? Thank you in advance, jean ps: ofc on codepen it's working perfectly well but not in my code : http://codepen.io/anon/pen/gpvvEN So, my problem with my code is to have a move back - of the blue div - correctly displayed.
  3. Is it possibe to scale a div with TweenMax but I would like to maintain or reset the CSS top and left position? Below are a few failed attempts. It seems TweenMax always scales from the center point. TweenMax.fromTo('#div-name', 2, {scaleX:.5, scaleY:.5}, {css:{top:0, left:0}}); or TweenMax.to('#div-name', 2, {scaleX:.5, scaleY:.5}); $("#div-name").css({ top: '0px', left: '0px' }); The Codepen URL shows the red div scaling but not maintaining the top: 0 and left: 0 desired position.
  4. Hello! 1) div moves to 200 pixels to the right and takes the position 300px - it's ok 2) and next div moves to 50 pixels to the left - why? I thought it was specified the absolute position (left:50px) And how I can move the block to the absolute position (left:50px) at the second tween (if the first tween use "x:..." ) var logo = document.getElementById("elem"); new TweenMax(logo, 2, {x:200}); new TweenMax(logo, 2, {css:{left:"50px"}}).delay(2); ...... <div style="left: 100px; top: 100px; position:absolute;" id="elem">blablabla</div>
  5. Hello, GSAP is a wonderful achievement! In below given code, if you observe the css left property eg in IE11 dev Tools of #text2, you'll notice it jumps to 100% from 600% and only then decreases to 90%. I expected a smooth transition from 600% to 90%. Reversing (using superscrollorama), the 90% increase to 100% and remain there. It appears the initial offsetLeft is not recorded. <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8" /> <title>gsap_left_issue</title> <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script src="jquery.superscrollorama.js"></script> <script src="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.11.2/TweenLite.min.js"></script> <script src="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.11.2/plugins/CSSPlugin.min.js"></script> <style type="text/css"> html, body { height: 100%; font-size: 1px; } body { margin: 0; } #timeline { position: absolute; top: 0; right: 0; height: 2500px; width: 100px; } #limiter { position: fixed; height: 100%; width: 100%; overflow: hidden; } #stage { position: relative; max-width: 1920px; height: 100%; margin: auto; } .vwrapper { position: absolute; top: 50%; left: 0; width: 100%; } #stage hr { position: relative; top: 50%; } #timeline hr { margin-top: 100px; } a { display: block; position: absolute; } .vegcontainer /* for everything above screen min-width of 1024px */ { width: 12.64%; float: left; position: relative; } @media screen and (min-width: 1681px) { #vegs { position: absolute; margin-top: -15.65%; left: 22.1%; width: 100%; } } .veg { width: 100%; /* default width of img in container is not 100% ! Merry Christmas!
  6. Hi Greenies I have successfully designed my animations of lines of skills (except perfection in portrait) As the last effect I am loading a graphic of my business card ("#ezpc") and want it full screen The start position (except in 1920x1080) appears in the wrong position The destination Left & Top are also appearing in the wrong position When I debug the code the start and stop positions are correct but the graphic has it's own mind! I am sure that I am not "clearing" properly or perhaps I cannot use the same #demo container You may see my addGraphic() function attempting to kill the previous Tweens but that stops the first bit I know the majority of the code is quite unreadable due to it's complexity but can anyone give me any tips about resetting the page somehow prior to the loading of the graphic? The code is on CodePen as: http://cdpn.io/xHytr (full page) or http://codepen.io/thorntontf/pen/xHytr Thanks for any help you can give Trevor
