GSAP Animation Expert for React-Based Fintech Website

We are seeking a highly skilled GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) expert to join our team and enhance the visual experience of our existing React-based payment gateway website. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, performant web animations, particularly for SaaS or fintech platforms.

 

Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement smooth, interactive animations and transitions that match the level of refinement seen on sites like Stripe.com, especially for product showcases, scroll-based interactions, and section transitions.

 

 

Technical Requirements

 

 

• Proven expertise with GSAP (GSAP3) and modern animation techniques
• Proficient in React.js and component-based architecture
• Strong CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript skills
• Experience implementing scroll-based animations (e.g., ScrollTrigger)
• Familiarity with performance optimization for animations on web
• Ability to work within a design system and integrate seamlessly with existing components

 

 

Nice to Have:

 

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS (our current design stack)
• Experience with WebGL, Three.js, or Lottie for enhanced visuals
• Experience collaborating via Figma or other design tools

Compensation

 

 

• Rate: $40/hour
• Hours: Up to 40 hours/week

 

 

This is a contract-based remote role with flexibility in working hours as long as deliverables are met.
