Do I need to protect club bonus files & how

Hi,

Since anyone can download the premium plugin files that are hosted on my website, so:

• Can they use them without any restrictions?
• Do I need to protect them & how?
• I think there should be a URL whitelist section so that I can confirm my websites using these premium plugins

Yep our entire model is based on the honor system, we trust our users will do the right thing, but we can't account for some rotten apples that will try to take advantage of good people like you and 100% of our users.

You definitely can, one alternative is to remove all the comments from the minified files and bundle all the plugins into one file with the core (if possible of course), like that anyone trying to grab them won't really know what's on that particular file, that can make it a bit more challenging. There are other options but they are a bit cumbersome and if someone actually wants to grab the files and use them, they'll always find a way to do it 😥

Yeah that is a bit more complex than it sounds and could be quite time demanding. As I mentioned we use the honor system and we treat our users the way we want to be treated and all of our users reciprocate that, they value the hard work we put into GSAP and will do the right thing. Because of this our files don't include phone-home scripts or anything like that.
