Hi there,

If you’ve found a cool-looking site or effect, chances are very high, someone has already asked about a similar effect. Whenever you're stuck or need a starting point, I recommend searching through the forums first. Try using keywords like "text zoom", "text scale", or other variations. In the best-case scenario, you’ll find a helpful starting point, and at worst, you might discover another cool effect and its solution. Either way, you have nothing to lose!

I spent a few minutes searching and found these gems:

I hope this helps and good luck with your project!

Hi,

This is a case by case kind of thing. I would strongly recommend you to use SVG text and just scale it up and translate it at the same time in order to create the right effect. Every different text will require a different animation configuration and without a minimal demo there is not a lot we can do to help.

As @alig01 points the demo in this thread by @mvaneijgen should really help:

Also this demo scales up an SVG element which is the route I'd take:

See the Pen WNWgaqZ by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen.

Hopefully this helps

Happy Tweening!
