i've been admiring another award winning site https://elephant.is/ and managed to get a fairly decent transition using ScrollToPlugin (once I solved the state issue by wrapping the code in a javascript document.onload function).
ScrollTrigger seems a bit less successful.

I would approach this situation differently. Instead of creating a bunch of tweens and attaching ScrollTriggers to them, I'd use the callbacks that ScrollTrigger gives you to create new tweens. That way if a user scrolls quickly through the page you'll never h
