GSAP and Scrolling

Does GSAP have built in scroll functionality to trigger animations or do I need to use another library such as ScrollMagic or Skrollr?

ScrollMagic does use GSAP for its scrolling and animating.

 

You could try to use the GSAP ScrollToPlugin for animating scrolling.

Yes you will need to either use another library like ScrollMagic (or create your own) if you would like GSAP tweens to be triggered at specific scroll positions. This isn't a built-in feature of GSAP.
